Joe Figueroa
Executive Assistant
Joe joined the staff of the Center in July of 2009 as the Administrative Assistant to the Director. Joe assumes responsibility for negotiating and scheduling director Larry Sabato's state and national speaking engagements, and assists the director in preparing presentations and lectures, as well as research materials for upcoming book projects. Joe previously worked at the Center for two years as a student, helping both with the financial operations and the Crystal Ball.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Virginia, receiving a B.A. with distinction in Government and History. He has previously worked for 2 years as Legislative Aide to New Jersey Assemblyman John McKeon, in addition to working for numerous mayoral, congressional, and gubernatorial campaigns. Joe is actively involved in volunteering and community service, and continues to play an active role in both local and national politics.
