Andrew M. Bell
Senior Historian
Andrew M. Bell is the Senior Historian at the Center. He holds advanced degrees in history from the James Madison and George Washington Universities.
Prior to joining the Center in August 2010, Dr. Bell taught history at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed scholarly journals and is the author of Mosquito Soldiers: Malaria, Yellow Fever, and the Course of the American Civil War (LSU Press, 2010).
He is currently writing a book with Dr. Sabato on the life and legacy of John F. Kennedy (Bloomsbury, 2013.)
