William Mayer

William Mayer is an associate professor of political science at Northeastern University, having received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1989. He is the author of four books, including In the Pursuit of the White House and The Divided Democrats. He is currently working on a second edition of his first book, The Changing American Mind, a comprehensive examination of the major changes in American public opinion that took place between 1960 and 1998.

Professor Mayer is married to Amy Logan, who is, at this moment, eight and half months pregnant. They and their first child, Natalie, look forward to the new arrival with love and joy.
