On Saturday, June 7, 2008, the 1st Annual Center for Politics Golf Classic was held to benefit the Youth Leadership Initiative and to celebrate 10 years of good politics. More than 30 participants played at the beautiful and challenging Boar's Head Inn Birdwood Golf Course in Charlottesville. With its rich history and scenic beauty, the Birdwood Golf Course is called one of Mid-Atlantic's top "must play" courses by the Washington Golf Monthly.
