10th Annual American Democracy Conference
Friday, Nov. 21, 2008
University of Virginia Alumni Hall
Charlottesville, VA
Campaigns and elections are key indicators of the health and vibrancy of our democracy. We first organized a post-election conference in 1998 to reflect on and examine the outcome of that year's events, which led to the creation of our annual American Democracy Conference (ADC).
The 10th ADC took place November 21, 2008 in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia's Alumni Hall. Co-hosted by the Center for Politics and CQ Politics, and covered by C-SPAN for national broadcast, it welcomed nearly 500 guests for expert political analysis of one of the most exciting presidential elections in history.
