9:20 PM Jul 16th: Goldwater(’64) & Reagan(’80) won GOP nomination for POTUS. Nixon taping system revealed(1973). JFK Jr killed in air crash(1999). What a day!

9:49 PM Jul 16th: Watching streaming AZ SEN debate. McCain & Hayworth have one thing in common. Their consultants told them to smile a lot.

3:35 PM Jul 17th: Scott Brown is to the Senate what Anthony Kennedy is to the Supreme Court–the key swing vote.

10:31 PM Jul 17th: Watch Aussie snap election (Aug), just called by new PM Julia Gillard(Lab). Close. If Gordon Brown had done same in ’07, he’d still be UK PM

10:53 AM Jul 19th: Greens doing well in IL GOV & SEN races, due to dislike of D&R nominees. Precedent: 2006 GOV, Green got 10% against Blago(D-48%) & R(38%).
