Michael Baudinet
Executive Assistant to the Director

Michael Baudinet joined the Center for Politics staff in August 2005 as the Executive Assistant to the Director. Michael assumes responsibility for negotiating and scheduling director Larry Sabato's state and national speaking engagements, and assists the director in preparing presentations and lectures, as well as research materials for upcoming book projects.

Prior to joining the Center staff, Michael worked for the Papers of James Madison at the University of Virginia, a non-profit project established to publish annotated volumes of the correspondence and writings of the former president. His responsibilities included transcribing and interpreting original texts and primary source documents, as well as providing research assistance and contextual background information for the project editors.

A 2004 graduate of the University, Michael majored in History and Economics while also working for the Intramural-Recreational Sports Department. In addition, he has been active in the local community as an ESL tutor and as a youth basketball coach and sports official.
