Isaac Wood
Research Analyst

Isaac Wood joined the staff of the Center for Politics in June 2007 as a Research Analyst.
He assists with media relations and press inquiries, as well as publicity
for Center programs and events. In addition, Isaac serves as a staff writer for Sabato's Crystal Ball, a political
analysis web site and newsletter created by Larry Sabato, Director of the University of Virginia
Center for Politics. In that capacity, he composes essays analyzing the current political
climate and predicting electoral outcomes.
Prior to joining the Center, Isaac was a participant in the Center’s A.C.E. program, serving as an intern to Charlottesville city councilor Dave Norris. He also has held political internships both on Capitol Hill and in North Carolina. He is on track t
o graduate in 2009 from the University of Virginia, where he participates in student government and several other organizations. Isaac is pursuing a double major in Government and Economics and is an Echols Scholar.
