Bruce A. Larson

Bruce A. Larson (Ph.D., University of Virginia, 1998) is an assistant professor of
Political Science at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
He specializes in the American electoral process and teaches a wide variety of courses,
including Congress, Political Parties, Campaigns and Elections, Public Opinion, and Social Science
Research Methods. In addition to authoring several articles on American elections, he is
co-editor (with Larry J. Sabato and Howard R. Ernst) of
Dangerous Democracy? The Battle Over Ballot Initiatives in America (Rowman and Littlefield,
2001) and co-author (with Larry J. Sabato) of The Party's Just
Begun: Shaping Political Parties For America's Future, 2nd ed. (Longman, 2002).
